You can clean up your credit rating and improve your credit report!

Like I said earlier on the previous page, you can request all three credit reporting agencies remove negative items from your credit report if they are innacurate or misleading and just plain old INCORRECT!

It will take some documentation on your part and you will need a recent copy of your credit report. I'll provide links to all three credit reporting agencies for your convenience.

These three credit reporting agencies are where you need to start. You might want to sign up for credit monitoring if you find out that there are accounts in your credit report that are not yours!

Now for some unpleasant news unfortunately. The credit reporting agencies work for the creditors and you may need legal help to remove negative items from your credit report! This will seriously have a negative impact on your credit!

All of these agencies can and will contest your challenges as frivolous and valid without doing much in the way of homework to prove that you aren't resposible for the negative information in your report.

The news gets better though if you find innaccurate and misleading or incorrect information!

There are companies who will help you clean up your credit report and I will provide a link to it when I get permission to do so. I don't often recommend other businesses and place their ads on my site, but I have used this agency and they deliver what is promised and they will do their jobs well working for you.

They are called Lexington Law Firm and they are available, I believe in all 50 States! The credit reporting agencies had challenged my request to contest items in my credit reports. they used every stall tactic in the book and threw a few more at me I never though of!

I don't think I could have made the progress cleaning up my credit report with out them so easily. They have the experience to combat the stall tactics and other activities these credit reporting angencies used against me hoping I would go away!

They are also very reasonable and have worked well for me! Treat your credit like a million dollars you are trying to protect. And this cannot be stated often enough.

Check your credit rating and credit reports AT LEAST once a year!
