Pda phones require the higher bandwidth of cell phone service frequencies to operate the video, data and internet access functions of the pda. You have probably noticed that most cell phones are dual band or tri-band phones, maybe listed as 800/900/1900 MGHZ.

Here's a tip for the appearance of your PDa for you PDA users! When your PDA gets scratches on the screen, apply some Meguires Mirror Glaze to the face from any auto parts store and buff the scratches out! You won't believe how great this works!

That means that all these frequencies are necessary for satisfactory operation. Voice operates best on one of these bands and data and video as well as internet access on the others!

These systems are highly dependent on signal strenght of 35% or better and you may find you can make a call, but internet is offline or incredibly slow. This is unusual, but it has happened and for pda's, your best choice in cell phone antennas will be one that works on all bands like the one pictured below.

The Yagi antenna pictured above is the type designed to not accumulate foreign objects like ice and snow. This tri-band Yagi works well for all types of pda's that have been used with it.

These types of antennas, Yagi antennas specifically do not work on moving vehicles like cars, boats or motorhomes and RV's.
