This step is incredibly because most complaints about dropped calls, garbled communications, slow connectivity, slow WiFi and PCS soeeds are almost always pointing to one thing! SIGNAL STRENGTH! Everyone has their own preferred service provider because we alluse our phones differently. The major service providers are Nextel, T-Mobile, Alltel, Verizon, Cingular/ATT, Sprint, Qwest, etc. When you get outside of the U.S., the choices get even larger, especially for those with world band phones! Most I know will get a repeater because it allows you to move about freely while you use your phone. The usable range of a repeater is about 800 feet repeater antenna to use your mobile phone service. A lot of us are considering cutting our land lines because of the convenience that our cell phones provide. The proper antenna and amplifier will make a big difference in how you view your mobile phone service!
