I would love to find a Motorola MTS just for fun and to tinker with it!
It would be really fun to take one of those and make a modern mobile phone out of it! Take a good look at the 1964 Motorola MTS in the last picture on the second page of cell phone history.
If anyone has one of these complete, please send me an comment through my contact us page. I'm very interested in acquiring one of these!
Bag phones aren't just for the 1980's anymore!
I have a new Motorola M900 bag phone because it offers the same kind of voice quality that I can get through my land line phone. It is also an excellent phone to take on the road because it has good holding power when it comes to capturing a cell phone tower.
It can boost antenna power when necessary and with a cell phone antenna amplifier, it has a long reach to distant cell phone towers!
Would you like to know where the nearest cell phone towers are in your location?
The link below will take you to an tower locator. All you have to do is put in your local information and a map will come up with your nearest tower and the distance between it and you!
Once you have this information, being able to aim an antenna should be a lot easier!
